Pastor Dave Peters

Pastor George David Peters, 88, of Amherst, Virginia, went to his heavenly home to join his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 4, 2026.

"Leaving a land that has beauty

To a land that is glorious and bright

Leaving a family that loves him

To a larger family of light

Seeing a father who raised him

And a Father who'll raise him from death

Going from the labor of breathing

To an eternal life-giving breath!"

Pastor Peters dedicated his life to serving the Lord.

With his passing he asked that in lieu of flowers to
